Jakes Srinivasan
Jakes Srinivasan founded INDICRON in 2004 with a straightforward proposition: that the most valuable thing a senior executive can offer a company is not a title, but the judgment that comes from having built, broken and fixed real businesses across multiple industries.
That judgment has been built across three decades — beginning in engineering at IIT Delhi, grounded analytically by an MBA from The Wharton School, sharpened through a decade at Marakon Associates and Interbrand, and tested across multiple operating roles spanning turnarounds, startups, private equity-backed growth and AI-driven transformation.
Today, INDICRON's primary focus is at the intersection of AI, data and business transformation — an area where the combination of deep strategic training, hands-on operating experience and modern AI practitioner skills is genuinely rare.

Marakon Associates
Advised Fortune 100 clients on value-based strategy and corporate restructuring. Delivered $250M profitability improvement program for a $2B US beverages conglomerate. Repositioned a major beverage brand, adding $40M in brand valuation. Achieved $100M+ annual economic profitability improvement for a large industrial company.
Interbrand
Built and led the Brand Valuation practice for Americas. Advised the CFOs of HP, BP and UPS on brand as a financial asset. Guest-lectured the Columbia Business School MBA program on brand economics and valuation methodology.
Weight Watchers International
Built the Strategic Planning function from scratch for a newly public, PE-backed company. Developed a county-and-ZIP BI model across all 3,000+ US counties, fundamentally reshaping the company's approach to advertising targeting, location selection and franchise M&A strategy.
Authentidate Holding Corp.
Led a company-wide turnaround — pivoting to a 100% SaaS healthcare model, closing the largest recurring-revenue contract in company history and securing a landmark CMS regulatory approval of digital signatures on healthcare documentation. Delivered 59% 3-year revenue CAGR. Partners included Cerner, EDS Medi-Cal, American HomePatient and USPS.
Bajaao.com
Nearly a decade as Investor and Operator in India's leading musical instruments e-commerce business. Restructured digital marketing programs achieving 20% sales improvement in 90 days, 15% reduction in advertising spend and 10:1 ROAS. Led Entertainment Division turnaround to profitability.
zREP Inc.
Co-founded a SaaS startup pioneering the patented zREPutation algorithm for skills-fit matching in human capital management. Built profitable international client base across the US, Japan and Australia. Raised capital from qualified investors including NYNMA members.
INDICRON Engagements
Recent engagements include the design and deployment of a production AI assistant for Bajaao.com (GPT-4o/4.1, Qdrant multi-model vector search, LangChain, Shopify integration); strategic AI partnership development at Mass General Brigham Life Sciences; an electronics e-commerce turnaround; and the commercial launch of a cardiac care mobile application.
Outside of the firm, Jakes is an active performing musician — a percussionist and drummer who has shared the stage with some of our foremost artists. He founded Wobeon Music in 2011 and created the Austin World Music Festival, presenting 70+ international artists including Angelique Kidjo, Billy Cobham, Vieux Farka Touré and Fatoumata Diawara. He holds active interests in equity and real estate investing. Jakes holds US citizenship and is based in Austin, Texas.
